SUMMARY:Crucial Conversations Community Call - June 30\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Register\n\n\n\n\nIn the flow of day-to-day work\, it’s easy to fall back into fast thinking\, especially in high-stakes or emotional moments. Our brains quickly fill in gaps and create stories that feel true\, shaping how we respond before we’ve had a chance to fully process what’s actually happening. Without ongoing practice\, even the most valuable Crucial Conversations skills can fade over time. \n\n\n\nIn this interactive session\, we’ll revisit key concepts and build deeper awareness of how our thinking impacts our actions and outcomes. \n\n\n\nIn this session\, you will: \n\n\n\n\nUnderstand why the brain creates stories so quickly—and why they feel so convincing\n\n\n\nRecognize the three common “clever stories”: Victim\, Villain\, and Helpless\n\n\n\nPractice reframing your initial interpretations to respond more effectively\n\n\n\nApply “tell the rest of the story” to real situations you’re facing\n\n\n\n\nMost importantly\, this session is about reinforcing core skills\, so they become part of how you show up every day—helping you pause\, think more clearly\, and respond with greater intention in crucial moments. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou are expected to have your cameras on\, please come prepared to engage\, share\, and practice.

SUMMARY:Understanding Communication Styles May 7\, 2026 in MSP
DESCRIPTION:This program is a foundation for understanding people’s behavioral styles. This awareness helps people to interact more effectively with one another. Our Style is determined by observable “say and do” behavioral habits we develop over our lifetimes. Once you understand a person’s typical behavior you can predict how they might act most of the time\, which helps you build better and more productive relationships. \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes: \n\n\n\n\nBy understanding different communication styles\, we can own the message and lead effectively\n\n\n\nFrom seeing our differences as a problem to our differences as a solution\n\n\n\nHow Versatility\, the ability to understand and move into the world of another\, positively impacts our communication and ultimately our relationships\n\n\n\n\nParticipation in this session will require about a half hour of prework\, including at least five work colleagues of your choosing to complete a ten-minute online assessment by April 30. \n\n\n\nPlease manage your own air travel and hotel accommodations.

SUMMARY:Understanding Communication Styles January 29\, 2026 in MSP
DESCRIPTION:This program is a foundation for understanding people’s behavioral styles. This awareness helps people to interact more effectively with one another. Our Style is determined by observable “say and do” behavioral habits we develop over our lifetimes. Once you understand a person’s typical behavior you can predict how they might act most of the time\, which helps you build better and more productive relationships. \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes: \n\n\n\n\nBy understanding different communication styles\, we can own the message and lead effectively\n\n\n\nFrom seeing our differences as a problem to our differences as a solution\n\n\n\nHow Versatility\, the ability to understand and move into the world of another\, positively impacts our communication and ultimately our relationships\n\n\n\n\nParticipation in this session will require about a half hour of prework\, including at least five work colleagues of your choosing to complete a ten-minute online assessment by January 22. \n\n\n\nPlease manage your own air travel and hotel accommodations.
