Crucial Conversations Community Call – June 24, 2026

June 24 @ 11:00 am 11:45 am

In the flow of day-to-day work, it’s easy to fall back into fast thinking, especially in high-stakes or emotional moments. Our brains quickly fill in gaps and create stories that feel true, shaping how we respond before we’ve had a chance to fully process what’s actually happening. Without ongoing practice, even the most valuable Crucial Conversations skills can fade over time.

In this interactive session, we’ll revisit key concepts and build deeper awareness of how our thinking impacts our actions and outcomes.

In this session, you will:

  • Understand why the brain creates stories so quickly—and why they feel so convincing
  • Recognize the three common “clever stories”: Victim, Villain, and Helpless
  • Practice reframing your initial interpretations to respond more effectively
  • Apply “tell the rest of the story” to real situations you’re facing

Most importantly, this session is about reinforcing core skills, so they become part of how you show up every day—helping you pause, think more clearly, and respond with greater intention in crucial moments.
